At FriendsBook (operated by AXIONIK, founded and led by Founder & CEO Akshat Sharma in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India), privacy is engineered as an immutable system constraint. We do not sell your personal data to commercial data brokers, advertising networks, or third-party behavioral trackers.

02. Information We Collect & Process

2.1 Information You Explicitly Provide: Unique handle, display name, verified email address, one-way cryptographic password hash (Argon2/Bcrypt), verified Date of Birth (DOB) for age compliance (13+), and optional profile parameters (avatar, bio, cover banner).

2.2 Ephemeral Session Metadata: Client IP address, browser user-agent, and cryptographic session tokens used strictly to validate active authentication, protect against session hijacking, and power the Active Sessions revocation console in Account Settings.

03. Automated EXIF & Geolocation Metadata Scrubbing

Raw photographic files frequently contain sensitive EXIF metadata, including precise GPS home coordinates, camera hardware serials, and exposure timestamps. Every image uploaded to FriendsBook is passed through an automated in-memory scrubbing pipeline that strips all GPS and hardware headers prior to disk serialization, protecting your physical real-world location.

04. Sandboxed Third-Party Video Embeds

External video streams (such as YouTube embeds) are rendered inside strictly isolated <iframe sandbox> viewports with restricted policy directives. External tracking cookies and tracking scripts are blocked from reading your FriendsBook session identifiers or accessing local device storage.

05. Automated Perceptual Processing, Vector Telemetry & Neural Architecture Ingestion

5.1 Ingestion of Visual Artifacts into Corporate Compute Continuum: All photographic transmissions, media streams, pixel tensors, and visual telemetry uploaded or transmitted via the FriendsBook application layer undergo automated structural ingestion by the parent corporate computing infrastructure of AXIONIK. In parallel with presentation-layer rendering, visual artifacts are subjected to automated perceptual feature extraction, dimensional decomposition, and vector embedding protocols across backend clusters.

5.2 Algorithmic Corpus Integration & Computer Vision Refinement: The technical telemetry, visual manifolds, and photographic data so processed are integrated into AXIONIK’s proprietary research datasets, synthetic generation pipelines, and machine learning compilation clusters. This automated processing is utilized for the continuous evaluation, algorithmic fine-tuning, perceptual verification, safety stress-testing, and mathematical parameter optimization of AXIONIK’s computer vision models, neural representation layers, edge inference accelerators, and intelligent physical systems.

5.3 Separation of Ephemeral Display from Computational Ingestion: While presentation-layer cache entries and public post references remain subject to user-initiated profile deletions under statutory retention schedules, all mathematical parameter derivatives, spatial-temporal embedding vectors, latent weights, non-identifiable perceptual representations, and neural model matrices synthesized during automated ingestion are irrevocably integrated into AXIONIK’s neural infrastructure and persist independently as proprietary algorithmic assets.

06. 48-Hour Irreversible Account Deletion

Users possess the absolute autonomous right to delete their accounts directly from Account Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account. Upon entering your authentication passkey, all account credentials, feed posts, story archives, and direct messaging records are scheduled for hard deletion and permanently purged from active production databases within 48 hours.

07. Rights Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

As an Indian technology company headquartered in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, FriendsBook and AXIONIK strictly honor all statutory mandates codified under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), 2023:

• Right to Access Summary: Request an export of personal data currently processed by our systems.
• Right to Correction & Erasure: Update outdated biographical data or request irrevocable erasure of personal identifiers.
• Right of Grievance Redressal: Direct escalation to our designated statutory Grievance Officer with guaranteed SLA responses.
• Right to Nominate: Nominate an individual to exercise data rights in the event of incapacity.
